I’m an 11B and proud of it. What I’m not proud of is what I put my family through when I got out. Disconnected and Angry, I managed to run myself and my family in to the ground. I was given the opportunity to do something different and go through a Combat Training for the HEART at Pathways. My passion is to be a platform for Military and their families to gain Hope, Healing and Purpose.

With 10 years of experience as Executive Director of a non-profit, I know what it takes to get one started … PASSION! Ryan has PASSION for helping soldiers regain their emotional and spiritual balance. Growing up during the Vietnam era I have observed the emotional and physical struggles of soldiers my entire life; however, it wasn’t until I spent time with Ryan and his family that I realized, it isn’t just the soldier that makes sacrifices, it’s the entire family. My husband was in the Army and served a 15 month deployment, but I like to say that we both served that time. We may not have been shot at or risked our lives the way our soldiers did, but the spouses at home did play our part. Without receiving a scholarship for core training, my husband nor myself would have had this incredible opportunity to change our lives, our children’s lives or the lives of those around us. “Serve Those who Serve Us”…I am honored to have the opportunity to work with this group to help the Soldiers & their families that have served us, and defended our freedom. The past four years we have had the opportunity to produce “A Tournament Of Heroes” Bass tournament and All Family weekend, and our annual USO Thanks giving Dinner of Heroes. Now we can serve more Soldiers and families on a year round calendar basis. I look forward to bringing ideas, and key partners to serve these brave Warriors and their precious families.
